Lets look at the settings for custom brushes in Paint Tool Sai 2. I'm still getting used to them, but as you can make quite nice organic-feeling brushes out of them, I'm probably replacing bristles to scatters on many of my main brushes, though this batch might not have the brush that was just right for me.
